About Me:

When I became pregnant with my first child I researched everything I could about what to expect and felt empowered through gaining this knowledge. Once my daughter was born, I realized how helpful a doula would have been for my birth and postpartum experience. I started learning more about what a doula was and believed I had found my new career path. I completed my first doula training with DONA and started attending births soon after.

Over five years later, I have obtained my Lactation Counselor certification and have participated in many continuing education seminars, focus groups, and doula trainings (DONA, toLabor, and CAPPA). Prior to living in Portland, I helped start community support groups for parenting, breastfeeding, and postpartum, mentored new doulas, and helped organize a maternal mental health awareness event.

As a mother of two, I consider myself an advocate for people and draw from my own experiences and educational background to help support families wherever they are in their process.
